Academic Evaluation & Testing Service My private business is a Testing and Evaluation Service for Academic Education. I test all grades, from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I can do individual one-on-one testing of the popular PIAT (Peabody Individual Achievement Test) that takes about 90 minutes total and costs $75.00 per student. It is actually called the PIAT-R-NU (Revised, Normative Updates) I also do group testing of the IOWA or SAT Achievement Tests ($30.00 per student). If clients do not want academic testing, I can do Portfolio Reviews - the cost is $50.00 per student. All Home Educated students in the state of Florida are required by Florida Law to send the county their test scores or portfolio reviews at the end of each school year. This exam or evaluation must be done by a current Florida Certified Teacher. My Florida Professional Educator's Certification number is 516052, expiration: July, 2012. I love this job and do these tests or reviews from my home office. I am not limited to testing just home educated students. Some parents want to 'check' the progress of their students in 'regular' or private schools and I can help them evaluate that progress.
